    \r\n Introduction

    \r\n   Water Regimen Annual Report of Taihu Basin Area (hereinafter refered to as the Annual Report) is an overall and detailed report about the annual raining condition and water regimen in the Taihu Basin and Zhejiang & Fujian region compiled by Hydrographic Bureau (Information Center), Taihu Basin Authority. It contains the situation of annual and period raining, flood, typhoon, reservoir impound and water diversion, etc, as well as the forecast of hydrological intelligence and the big events of water regimen. It serves as a reference for the future flood and drought control as well as the management of water resources.

    \r\n   This Annual Report is divided into two parts---The report about the Taihu Basin and the one about the areas of Zhejiang & Fujian. All the water regimen information is from 2012 Taihu Basin flood information. In the report about the Taihu Basin, the water base of Jiangsu Province and Zhejiang Province is Wusong Base (Zhenjiang as the datum point). The water base of Shanghai is also Wusong Base (Sheshan Hill as the datum point). In the report about Zhejiang & Fujian area, the water base is 85 Huanghai Sea base. In the Annual Report, the perennial precipitation (multi-year mean) of Taihu Basin and the regions is based on the data of Taihu Basin Comprehensive Plan Hydrological analysis.

    \r\n   The flood season periods in the Taihu Basin areas are different. So, in the Annual Report, if there is no specific introduction, the Taihu Basin flood season is from May 1st to September 30th. The flood season in the area of Zhejiang is from April 16th to October 15th. In Fujian, the flood season is from April 1st to September 30th. In the reservoir impound statistics of Zhejiang & Fujian in the Annual Report, the flood season of Zhejiang and Fujian Province is from May 1st to September 30th.

    \r\n   Owing to the limited levels of the editing members, this Annual Report might contain some mistakes or insufficient parts. It will be highly appreciated if any suggestions are provided to help the improvement.
