On November 1, 2025, Eddy Moors, Rector　of IHE Delft Institute for Water Education (Netherlands), and his delegation visited　the Taihu Basin Authority of the Ministry of Water Resources(TBA). Zhu Wei, Director-General of TBA, attended the meeting. Dai Su, Deputy Director-General of TBA, chaired the meeting.

Mr. Zhu extended a warm welcome to the Dutch delegation on behalf of TBA. He noted that　TBA has a solid cooperation　foundation　with the Dutch Directorate-General for Water Management　in the construction of wind-wave observation platforms and the introduction of flow cytometer equipments.　Some　staff members of TBA have studied at IHE Delft. He expressed the hope that both parties will promote substantive progress in international talent training, project cooperation and other areas by taking this meeting as an opportunity.

Subsequently, the two sides exchanged views on key topics including flood and drought disaster prevention, comprehensive water environment management, and digital twin water conservancy construction. Rector Eddy Moors stated that he would actively promote TBA's participation　and sincerely welcome TBA's professionals and technicians to exchange and study at IHE Delft when opportunities arise.

Professor Zhou Yangxiao from IHE Delft Institute for Water Education,　as well as representatives from　Division of International Cooperation, Science and Technology, Division of Flood and Drought Disaster Prevention, Bureau of Hydrology (Information Center) of Taihu Basin Authority, Water Conservancy Development Research Center of Taihu Basin Authority(TBA), attended the meeting.
